About the Company:

Forge Recruitment has partnered with a reputable and well-established Family Law firm in Toronto to assist in their search for an experienced Family Law Clerk. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional seeking to collaborate with respected Family Law practitioners in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

About the Role:

As a Family Law Clerk, you will provide dedicated support to two associates. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day administration of Family Law files as directed by the supervising lawyers
• Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, motion materials, and documentation for case conferences, settlement conferences, and trial management conferences
• Drafting correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other involved parties
• Acting as a liaison between clients, the courts, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and written communication

What You Bring:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Family Law Clerk within a law firm setting
• In-depth knowledge of Family Law rules, procedures, and applicable legislation
• A Law Clerk diploma or certificate
• Proficiency in MS Office, DivorceMate, Caselines, and Cosmolex
