Badesha Law is a client-focused and growing law firm specializing in Family Law, Wills & Estates, and Real Estate in the Greater Toronto Area. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Clerk to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and manage legal documents for family law matters including divorce, separation, custody, access, support, and property division.
  • Prepare financial statements, motion materials, affidavits, and court forms under the Family Law Rules .
  • Organize disclosure documents and mediation materials.
  • Maintain client files and case timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff in a professional and timely manner.
  • Schedule and coordinate court dates, client meetings, and mediations.
  • Provide general administrative support to lawyers as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Law Clerk Diploma or equivalent legal education.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in family law within Ontario.
  • Strong understanding of the Family Law Rules and court procedures.
  • Proficiency with DivorceMate , Microsoft Office , and legal management software.
  • Exceptional drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple files independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
