Are you an accomplished and visionary culinary professional with a passion for Italian cuisine? Are you experienced in leading a kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Executive Chef at a prestigious fine Italian dining establishment.

 

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an innovative and seasonally inspired menu that showcases the best of Italian cuisine while incorporating modern culinary techniques.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Create and refine recipes, incorporating locally sourced ingredients and maintaining a focus on freshness and flavor.
- Lead and inspire the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menu pricing strategies that balance profitability with guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen expenses to ensure financial targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Stay updated on culinary trends, new techniques, and ingredient availability to continuously enhance the menu and dining experience.

 

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining establishment, preferably with a focus on Italian cuisine.
- Extensive knowledge of Italian culinary traditions, ingredients, and techniques.
- Creative flair and ability to develop innovative and visually appealing dishes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate the kitchen staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Solid understanding of food cost control and ability to manage kitchen expenses effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the management team, staff members, and suppliers.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized culinary institution is preferred.
