Job Summary
David Scott Lee Automotive is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing events from conception through to completion. This role requires exceptional communication as well as a strong ability to manage sponsorships and contracts. The Event Coordinator will work closely with management to ensure their vision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events and sponsorships, including logistics.
• Communicate effectively with management to understand their needs and preferences.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services at competitive rates.
• Manage event schedule, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
• Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that arise promptly.
• Collaborate with dealership staff and other peers to coordinate event details seamlessly.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure sponsorship funds are budgeted.
• Coordinate approval process for all events/sponsorships.

Skills

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
• Excel, word, experience is a must.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
• Excellent negotiation skills for securing contracts and vendor agreements.
• Experience in upselling services or products related to events.
• Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to event planning.
• Knowledge of guest services best practices within the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
