Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you will be a key player in the planning and execution of various events, ranging from corporate gatherings to community festivals. As an Entry Level Event Specialist, you will have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the events industry while working alongside seasoned professionals.
Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating events from conception to execution, ensuring all aspects are addressed.
• Work with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure necessary services and materials for events.
• Help in developing event budgets and tracking expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Support the marketing team in promoting events through social media, email campaigns, and other channels.
• Assist with on-site event management, including setup, registration, and attendee support.
• Gather feedback from participants post-event to evaluate success and areas for improvement.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• A creative mindset with a passion for developing engaging event concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
