Responsibilities Spend more than 50% of workday/week away from the office prospecting new sales leads by identifying, developing, and maintaining professional relationships with key clients and associations. Identify and seek out potential business in the local market. Maintain relationships with local companies and key contacts to increase the hotel’s visibility. Focus prime selling time (10am – 3pm) on direct sales efforts only. Create and manage sales solicitations and presentations specific to assigned properties/brands. Negotiate all aspects of the sales contract to maximize profitability while meeting client expectations. Maintain positive STAR report numbers in occupancy, average daily rate, and RevPAR. Assist in developing property budgets and forecasts, operating within them. Develop and maintain market awareness to predict revenue opportunities and set proactive sales strategies. Achieve budgeted revenue goals consistently using provided training, tools, and procedures. Call on potential customers regularly; make in-person visits at least three days per week following company procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of hospitality sales and/or management experience. Ability to organize multiple projects, manage and prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
