Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Director of Operations to lead and oversee the performance of 25–30 restaurants in Northern California, with a focus on driving operational excellence and team success. This position demands a high-energy, results-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:

• Direct, support, and inspire a team of Area Managers across the San Francisco and Sacramento region.
• Build and maintain a strong bench of talent by improving staffing stability and fostering growth.
• Lead by example with a firm but fair leadership style that emphasizes accountability and consistency.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure all locations meet brand standards for cleanliness, organization, and service execution.
• Develop and implement policies, training programs, and best practices to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Oversee and optimize third-party delivery systems and leverage technology to streamline operations.

Strategic Planning & Growth:

• Create and execute long-term strategies to improve profitability, customer satisfaction, and team engagement.
• Conduct weekly administrative reviews at the Sacramento office to analyze performance metrics and plan next steps.

Financial Management:

• Manage budgets, calculate food and labor costs, and ensure healthy inventory practices.
• Set and achieve sales and profitability goals through data-driven decision-making.

Quality Assurance & Customer Experience:

• Maintain a customer-centric culture focused on fast, friendly, and flexible service.
• Monitor restaurant performance to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to brand standards.

Experience, Education, and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, hospitality, or equivalent experience (Preferred)
• SERV Safe Manager Certification (Preferred)
• Knowledge of California labor laws and environmental health codes
• 3+ years in a senior leadership role or 6+ years as an area manager overseeing 10+ high-volume locations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and operational technology
• Pizza Experience is a HUGE plus
• Experience in Quick Service or Casual Restaurants and; familiarity with pizza operations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to set clear expectations and provide consistent follow-ups.
• A problem-solver with an analytical mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to challenges.
• High-energy, approachable, and passionate about motivating and inspiring teams.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Full-time: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
• Health, dental, and vision insurance
• Paid vacation
• Company car and gas card for 80% local travel
