Dental Hygientist

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients and will enjoy working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Our Hygienists focus on building relationships with patients and having strong communication in order to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Located at Greenland Advanced Oral Care, in Grand Rapids, MI.

**Current Dental Hygiene license required**

Job Duties:

• Explain treatment options to patients.
• Perform exams, treatments, and procedures needed to promote dental health.
• Maintain and update dental product inventories.
• Provide education on dental care and the importance of good oral hygiene to patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for self and others.
• Communicate concerns about patient care or safety to dentist or supervisor.
• Sterilize dental instruments, equipment, or office supplies using an autoclave.

A few must-haves for Hygienists:

• Current Dental Hygienist license from the state of Michigan
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication and compassion
