As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and best practices.
  • Conduct oral health screenings and document findings to support the dentist’s diagnosis.
  • Ensure a positive, comfortable patient experience in a collaborative and professional environment.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Licensure: Current dental hygienist license in Iowa.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with digital radiographs, intraoral photography, and dental practice management software.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and physical movement (standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 35 lbs).
  • Experience: Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices, OSHA, HIPAA compliance, and infection control protocols.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, teamwork, and relationship-building abilities.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to the practice’s philosophy and high standards of care.
