Family owned printing company is seeking a Estimator to join the team!

Location: Nashville TN

Fulltime- Direct Hire- Bonuses

Salary $60-70,000 annually

MUST HAVE PRINTING INDUSTRY BACKGROUND

• Utilize knowledge of labor and material costs, manufacturing methods, and operating procedures to apply to job estimate.
• Communicate with Sales and CSR staff on specifications and updates with each job.
• Price all production work using proven standards. Estimate all nonstandard work in conjunction with CEO.
• Uses creativity estimating to reduce cost, promote competitive bidding, and increase win-to-loss ratio.
• Support operations and contribute towards team results by performing other production-related jobs as needed.
• Maintains highest level of knowledge of all software in estimating area.
• Produces clear and understandable written instructions, along with a production note to assist in assuring jobs are produced most effectively and profitability.
• Reanalyze projects and post-manufacturing costs.
• Complete alterations to scenarios to offer customers multiple options.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of related experience in a printing or manufacturing environment.
• High experience with cost estimating computer systems and computer hardware/software programming.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Verbal and written communication, especially versed in print processes and practices.
• Ability to adapt to high volumes of work.
