About the Role The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating and championing the agile software development process, managing sprints, facilitating communication, coaching and mentoring development teams, identifying and eliminating impediments, and promoting the use of standards and best practices. The role also manages hybrid project activities, interfaces with management, and builds relationships across the organization. Responsibilities Organize and facilitate agile activities and scrum ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint review/demo, sprint retrospective). Manage sprints and remove roadblocks. Act as a liaison between product manager, product owner, and development team. Support product owner or business analyst with backlog refinement and estimation; ensure refinement sessions occur. Collaborate on requirement documentation and release planning. Facilitate communication between roles and keep meetings productive and within timeboxes. Participate in quarterly planning and communicate dependencies. Document risks, decisions, and manage other hybrid project activities as needed. Maintain Scrum artifacts (sprint backlog, sprint calendar) and support the team in using agile planning tools (e.g., ADO). Coach and mentor team members to improve collaboration and self‑management, fostering a self‑organizing team. Report on team metrics, identify process improvement opportunities, and work with the team to continuously improve. Proactively identify and remove impediments, contributing to the advancement of agile practices within the organization. Adhere to governance, security, and risk‑management practices; comply with all company policies, applicable laws (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC), and complete required online training. Qualifications Experience as an Agile Scrum Master (or related role) in a corporate setting. Strong knowledge of Scrum ceremonies, agile metrics, and project management tools. Ability to coach, mentor, and facilitate communication across cross‑functional teams. Experience with ADO or similar agile planning tools. Background in governance, security, and risk‑management practices is preferred. Legal authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship). Benefits and Compensation Entry rate: $67,770.67 +/ per year (calculated for Kalispell, MT). Washington applicants: $73,817.63 to $110,726.44 yearly. Compensation is based on geographic location, experience, and education. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance (including coverage for eligible dependents).
