Role Summary

The marketing team at Wolfe is looking for a conversion-obsessed copywriter (content writer) who understands writing for web, modern SEO, and brand-centered storytelling. They will craft various content types from website copy, to blog and social posts, write product descriptions (and other assets) that address our target audience and promote our brands. They will research industry topics and trends, optimize content for organic search (with the help of an SEO expert), revise and edit pieces, and collaborate with other writers and marketers to ensure brand consistency. Ideal candidates will be creative, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines. Ability to use AI to augment your work is also ideal.

This is a 5-day onsite role in Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

• Write content that promotes our products and services
• Conduct in-depth research and convey findings with accuracy 
• Create, revise, and edit content before publication 
• Stay current on marketing and general industry trends to augment content development 
• Work with content strategists to build editorial calendars 
• Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and consistency in branding, style, and messaging 

Impact Statement

Below are the success metrics and measurements for this role in the first 90 to 120 days:

• Write content based on PMM (Product Marketing Manager) requirements for a Minimum 1-2 Tier 1 campaigns per quarter​ 
• Write content based on PMM requirements for a 2-3 Tier 2 campaigns per quarter​ 
• Write content based on PMM requirements for a Minimum 5-7 Tier 3 campaigns per quarter​ 
• Write content for 1 white paper 1 and 1 case study per quarter​ 
• Write content for 1 Video script per month for the customer spotlight program​ 

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a content writer or copywriter 
• Exceptional written communication skills 
• Impeccable use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Ability to meet tight deadlines 
• Creative and strategic-thinking skills 
• Proficiency in web-based research and SEO best practices 
• Proven ability in B2B or B2C marketing 

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with other writers and receive and give feedback 
• Compelling writing style, voice, and tone 
• Experience using content management systems like WordPress or Drupal 
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn 
• Portfolio of relevant writing samples 
• Experience writing for multiple brands concurrently
