Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe and Mill Setup Machinist with a positive attitude and strong team spirit. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is committed to precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, setup sheets, work orders, and engineering drawings to accurately set up CNC mills.
• Edit and adjust G and M code programs to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Operate and set up 3- and 4-axis mills, including horizontal machining cells.
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges to monitor product quality.
• Perform first-part inspections and make necessary tool compensation adjustments.
• Maintain machine fluids and perform basic machine upkeep.
• Run multiple machines efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow established quality assurance procedures and safety protocols.
• Apply basic math, geometry, and trigonometry in daily tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC mill setup machinist.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.
• Experience with sheet metal is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Comfortable working around moving machinery in a loud production environment.
