Job Description

Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) is recruiting a Certified Nurse Assistant to care for our residents in our various Long Term Care Facilities.

Description of department: The nursing team at Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation strive to SERVE in the care we provide to residents, families and each other. Each nursing member brings their strengths to the team and works together to provide exceptional compassion and care to the community we serve. We strive to make a difference each day and promote a positive, team-driven attitude. Each CNA on duty will have the support of management, LPNs, RNs, and RMTs to care for our residents. You have the option of full-time, part-time or PRN and will work closely with the Director of Nursing Administration on your schedule to determine a best fit for you and the team.

A typical day will include Knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of residents; maintains a safe, clean long term care environment; actively and consistently contributes to the operations and communications; behaves in a manner consistent with the mission and objectives of CMH and performs other duties as requested.

The position is Full Time.

Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or higher (Preferred).

Experience: Must be certified as a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Must also have a year’s experience as a CNA.

Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills, Willing to travel to various facilities throughout our eight county service area.

Licensure/Certification: Certified Nurse Assistant Certification. CPR Certification (must be obtained within six months of hire. Can also be provided by Citizens Memorial Healthcare.)
