About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to take on a strategic executive role. The successful candidate will be tasked with establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and security program to ensure the protection of information assets and technologies. This leadership position requires a security executive who can blend strategic planning with the development of multi-year roadmaps, lead large IT and security teams, and drive innovation across the organization. Responsibilities include overseeing incident response, vendor relationships, security policy, and cloud strategy, as well as mentoring and developing IT staff. Applicants for the CISO role at the company should have a background in senior leadership positions such as CISO, Deputy CISO, Senior Director, or equivalent, with a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar budgets. Strong knowledge of data security standards and compliance requirements is essential, particularly in the context of regulated industries with a focus on vendor management. Desired qualifications include CISSP, CISM, or related certifications, and a BA in MIS, computer science, or a related field. The role is divided into 50% strategy and roadmaps, 30% financial oversight and budgeting, and 20% policy and compliance, with a daily focus of 30% hands-on and 70% management duties.
