Schedule:
We offer client appointments Monday-Thursday from 7:30am-6:30pm. We will work with you to find hours that fit your needs.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Position Summary:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Strengths in Motion, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of children ages 2-18 by increasing their participation in meaningful activities. You will work closely with children of varying diagnoses, using a strengths-based approach to help them develop the skills they need to thrive in everyday tasks. Your expertise and creativity will be key in designing engaging, movement-based interventions that empower children to build confidence, independence, and achieve their full potential in a supportive and fun environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to children ages 2-18.
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists for initial evaluations and annual re-evaluations.
Complete required clinical documentation including but not limited to: treatment plans, daily documentation, and discharge summaries.
Collaborate with Occupational Therapists in creating individualized goals and interventions.
Collaborate with parents to develop home programming and ensure skills are generalized across people and environments.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists and Speech- Language Pathologists.
Pay/Benefits:
$50,000-$60,000 per year
Flexible schedule
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Minnesota Department of Health Certified Occupational Therapist License (or in process
of applying for state license)
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Previous experience in a pediatric setting
