CDL-A Owner Operator at Keystone Freight Corp. / National Retail Transport summary:

The CDL-A Owner Operator is responsible for operating company-owned tractor-trailer trucks to perform regional freight deliveries Monday through Friday, adhering to critical delivery schedules. The role includes conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate electronic logs, and ensuring compliance with DOT and OSHA safety standards. The position requires a Class A CDL, a safe driving record, and the ability to pass DOT medical and drug screening requirements while providing excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.

Job Description

• Monday through Friday schedule with critical delivery times.
• Execute timely deliveries to dedicated accounts across the region
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections before and after each load
• Maintain accurate daily electronic logs (E-Logs)
• Operate company-owned tractor-trailer trucks for regional freight transportation
• Perform required “user maintenance” and submit necessary reports
• Deliver exceptional customer service during pickup and delivery operations
• Maintain all DOT, OSHA, and company safety program certifications
• Preserve company property in excellent condition
• Report accidents immediately and communicate any delays promptly to dispatch or management
• Contribute to overall team operations as needed

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• Safe driving record (MVR, CSA, and previous employment)
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements
• Good stable work record
• Current DOT physical
• Truck must Pass Company Inspection
• LLC Corp. & EIN formation letters
• Current Truck Registration
• Current DOT Truck Inspection
• Be at least 23 years of age
• 1 year of Class-A driving experience or equivalent military experience
