Job Description
Custom Truck and Auto Shine is looking to fill the role of Body Shop Manger. Our current manager is nearing retirement and we want to find someone to work along side him to be able to hit the ground running when the time comes to take over.
Must have experience in the automotive, autobody industry. Minimum of 5 years Autobody/Paint or Management experience preferred. Must be goal oriented, strong in time and project management and be a self starter. Basically we need a leader and a visionary to help grow our body shop division. The right candidate will be in the drivers seat and will shape the future of Custom Truck's Body Shop.
Candidate would be supervising a shop of 6-7 with room for growth (and we want to grow!) Candidate would be responsible for scheduling, estimating and managing inventory/parts procurement. Candidate would be responsible for managing a 15,000sq ft shop with a 60' Tecor Downdraft Paint Booth with Overhead Cranes as well as our in house Sandblast and Rhinolining facilities.
We aren't your typical production or collision shop. We still do that stuff, but we also work on exciting projects that allow techs to exhibit their skills and creativity. While we do plenty of work on cars and pickups we also put out some really cool custom work on Cars, Pickups and Semis. We are a PPG Shop using their software and Mixing Station.
Candidate must be willing to get their hands dirty and pitch in once in a while and would need to be a good mentor, leader and trainer at times to lesser experienced techs and employees.
Must provide own basic tools.
Full Time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
