LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring an Assistant Community Manager in San Mateo . The ideal candidate will have at least a minimum of 2 year of residential management experience and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $25 - $28 /hr DOE
Job Responsibilities: - Schedule income verification appointments, process lease agreements, and maintain the housing waitlist.
- Assist in re-certifications, welfare exemption documents, MOR, and TCAC reviews.
- Handle notices, vacancies, turnover forms, rent collection, security deposits, petty cash, and bank deposits.
- Conduct property inspections, identifying maintenance and security issues.
- Foster relationships with law enforcement and emergency agencies.
- Coordinate maintenance inspections, ensuring timely processing of work orders.
- Maintain resident and property files while safeguarding confidential information.
- Communicate emergency preparedness procedures to residents and coordinate resident meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED, along with one year of residential property management, customer service, or administrative experience (or equivalent education and experience).
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or RealPage software system.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a proven ability to achieve measurable results.
- Independent worker with the capacity to collaborate in a team-based environment.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Possession of a valid California Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
