Your Role in Healthcare - Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing customized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions independently or in collaboration with fellow physicians
- Empowering patients and their families through education on wellness, preventive measures, and effective disease management
- Prescribing necessary medications and therapies as sanctioned by your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care initiatives
- Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, integrated care
- Keeping precise and detailed electronic medical records (EMR)
Education Credentials - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
Certifications Needed - Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Washington
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or the ability to achieve them within 90 days
