Accounts Payable Specialist

Focus:

• Perform high-volume invoice processing in a shared services environment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with internal and external contacts to validate invoice data and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize Oracle Fusion and Inspire (prior experience not required—training provided) to manage AP transactions.
• Maintain meticulous records for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Apply prioritization methods to manage payment timelines and ensure vendor satisfaction.
• Use Excel for basic functions such as filtering, sorting, and navigating large datasets.
• Support weekly reporting, payment tracking, and special projects as assigned.

Skill Set:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of professional experience in data entry, finance, or accounting is a plus—but not mandatory.
• Comfort with Excel and large volumes of data entry (training available for the right candidate).
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a larger team environment.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills with internal stakeholders.
