Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and month-end close
• Manage job cost tracking, WIP schedules, and project budget reporting
• Ensure GAAP compliance and assist with audits and tax prep
• Collaborate with project managers on financial performance and cost control
• Lead and develop a small accounting team
• Improve processes and support system upgrades

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)
• 5+ years of accounting experience, 3+ in construction
• Proficiency with construction accounting systems (e.g., Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, Foundation)
• Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, and POC revenue recognition
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
