Accounting Assistant:

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:

• Maintain accounts payable, including overseeing the distribution of invoices to appropriate department heads and properly coding invoices

• Act as the point of contact for vendors to review account status and other inquiries

• Prepare, review and enter payroll accounting entries

• Analyze payroll variances and provide reporting support

• Assist with month end financial reports and regulatory reporting

• Deposit checks

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• 2-3 years' experience in accounting or finance

• Experience in the healthcare field a plus

The Accounting Assistant role is fully onsite in Fairlawn, OH with a salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 depending on experience.
